Amy is a Linneys ambassador, a proud wife to Basil Zempilas and Mumma to three beautiful children; Ava, Chloe and Anthony, she also runs her own successful lifestyle blog.
Tell us a little bit about you and what you do?
I'm Amy, a mum to three beautiful children. Wife to Basil, tallest man in the world! In my former life I lived overseas and travelled the world. Now I love having adventures closer to home. I created my blog, Absolute Amy six years ago and love sharing my life and loves on social media. It's such a happy place of inspiration, ideas and information for me - especially leading such a busy life with three young kids and a hubby who works three jobs and is away a lot.
How has being a Mum changed your life?
It's changed my life in every way! For the better. I have three little people who need me. I wake up every day determined to be the best I can be for them. I don't have time to worry about trivial things or think too much about myself, and I like it that way. I've become a much more well rounded person, because I want to be someone my kids are proud of.
If you could only wear one piece of jewellery for the rest of your life, what would it be?
My wedding rings and engagement ring. Well that's three pieces of jewellery - but I wear them together, so I'm hoping that counts as one?
They were given to me by my husband and mean so much to me.
Which women have inspired you?
So many! But mainly, my mum and my Nana. Both amazing people and mothers. Kind, compassionate, genuine and thoughtful. If I can be half the people they are, I'm happy.
What’s one thing that most people don’t know about you?
I love to read. I grew up without a TV, and books were my first love. We used to have weekly trips to the library when I was growing up. I love getting lost in a story. When I'm an old lady, I hope to be surrounded by lots of interesting books.
What makes you smile the most?
My family. My kids and hubby make me smile and laugh every day. We have lots of fun together.
What’s one piece of advice you would like to pass onto your children?
Work hard. And have fun! I want my kids to enjoy their life. To find wonderful in every day.
