How do you pay for an engagement ring?

You’ve done your research on buying a diamond, chosen your design and are ready to take your new Australian jewellery home. However; one question remains. How do you pay for a diamond engagement ring and wedding band?

Like a house or a new car, a diamond engagement ring is not an everyday purchase. There are many options when it comes to paying for an engagement ring. At Linneys, we offer flexible layby, easy electronic transfer as well as accept all major credit cards. Read on for our simple payment options.

Paying for a Bespoke Engagement Ring & Wedding Band

Linneys are a proud manufacturing jeweller, handcrafting your bespoke jewellery design at our local Subiaco studio workshop. The creation process usually takes three to four weeks, allowing you to break your payments into parts. The final price will be quoted to you at the beginning of this process, with no fees or hidden costs. Linneys request a twenty percent deposit for your bespoke design, and you will then have the option to make as many or as few repayments as you like until it is completed.

Flexible Layby Options

Regardless of whether you create a bespoke engagement ring or select a piece from our extensive showroom range, Linneys also offer a flexible three-month layby. This allows you to pay-off your engagement ring over time while the ring is kept safely and securely in our vault. Extension is available on laybys that receive regular payments. Layby is also a great option if you are not yet ready to propose, as there is no chance of your surprise being discovered. Payments can easily be made in store, over the telephone or by direct electronic transfer, with a minimum of $200 requested on each deposit.

Debit and Credit Cards

Linneys accept all major credit cards, including American Express and Diners, and we do not on-charge any fees to you. Just be sure to check your credit card limit beforehand. Most debit cards have a transaction limit of $1000. Should you encounter any difficulties, Linneys friendly staff can assist you in contacting your bank.

Telephone and Electronic Transfer

If you are unable to come into one of our three Perth based showrooms, payment can be arranged over the telephone or by electronic transfer. After a brief identification check, Linneys experienced team will guide you through this process. Be sure to keep in mind that electronic transfers can take three to five business days to clear.

Bank Cheque

Linneys do accept bank cheques. Like electronic transfer, it can take three to five working days for these to clear, so be sure to allow enough time in your schedule. Contact our friendly staff to enquire further.

There are plenty of easy ways to pay for your diamond engagement ring and wedding band. Have a question? Contact or visit one of our three Perth showrooms today.
