Shopping safely with Linneys

For more than fifty years, families across Western Australia and beyond have trusted Linneys to mark their most treasured moments. The guidance below will help you recognise the real Linneys and shop with confidence.

How to know you are dealing with Linneys

Our official website is linneys.com.au, and it is the only place to shop our collections online. You can also visit us in person at our showrooms in Subiaco, Perth CBD and Crown Perth, or to speak with our team on +61 8 9382 4077.

You will find us on FacebookInstagramPinterest and LinkedIn as Linneys, and any email will come from an @linneys.com.au address. Check the full email address, not just the sender name, as these can be copied.

We do not sell through any other website or online marketplace. Any page, profile or store outside those listed above is not connected to us. If you are ever unsure whether a website, message or advertisement is ours, please get in touch before going any further.

How we will be in touch

When Linneys contacts you, it will be in keeping with the service you already know. Our team may email or call you about an order, an appointment, a repair, or an event you have asked to hear about.

There are some things we will never do

  • We will never ask you for your password, or for your full card number, PIN or online banking details by email, text or social media message.
  • We will never pressure you to pay on the spot, ask you to pay by cryptocurrency or by gift card.
  • We will never ask you to complete a purchase through a link to any website other than linneys.com.au.

If a message asks you for any of these, please treat it with caution and contact us directly.

Signs that something may not be genuine

Scams tend to rely on a sense of urgency and an offer that feels too good to miss. It is worth pausing if you notice:

  • Prices far lower than our own, or a giveaway we have not announced on our official channels.
  • A web address that is close to ours but not quite right, such as an extra word, a hyphen, or a different ending like .shop or .store.
  • Spelling, images or wording that feel a little off, including our own product photographs used somewhere they shouldn't be.
  • A request to move the conversation to a private message, or to pay in an unexpected way.

Every Linneys piece is designed and handcrafted in our Perth workshop and sold only through the channels above. If an offer elsewhere seems too good to be true, it very likely is.

If something doesn't seem right

If you come across a website, advertisement or message you believe is impersonating Linneys, please let us know. Call us on +61 8 9382 4077 or get in touch online, and our team will look into it and help you. If you spot a fake Linneys page or profile on social media, please report it to the platform as well as to us. Reporting it directly is often the quickest way to have it taken down.

If you have already paid, contact your bank straight away and report the transaction. You can also make a report to Scamwatch, the Australian Government's scam awareness service, which also provides helpful advice on staying safe online.

Your peace of mind matters to us as much as the pieces we create. Whenever you have a question, we are only ever a conversation away.
